En el día de hoy se conocieron los nominados a los Globo de Oro, los premios estadounidenses que reconocen lo mejor del cine y la televisión cada año. La película con más nominaciones (9) es Barbie, la cinta dirigida por Greta Gerwig que revolucionó la industria en este 2023. A ella la sigue Oppenheimer, la mega producción de Christopher Nolan, que logró 8 nominaciones.
Estos fueron los largometrajes que más expectativas crearon a lo largo del año, y al ser estrenados el mismo día generaron un fenómeno llamado «Barbenheimer» que incluso tendrá su propia cinta.
En la categoría principal de Mejor comedia o musical compiten Barbie, Air, American Fiction, Poor Things, May December y The Holdovers. Por su parte, en drama estará la mencionada Oppenheimer junto a otras aclamadas cintas del año como Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, Anatomy of a Fall, The Zone of Interest y Past Lives.
Los más nominados de la televisión
Por el lado de las series, la más nominada (con 9) es Succession, el drama de HBO Max que finalizó en este 2023 con su cuarta temporada. A ella le siguen otros éxitos como The Bear y Only Murders in the Building (ambas con 5). En la categoría de Mejor serie de drama aparecen la mencionada Succession junto a 1923, The Crown, The Diplomat, The Last of Us y The Morning Show. Por el lado de la comedia, se imponen The Bear, Only Murders in the Building, Abbott Elementary, Barry, la nueva Jury Duty y la aclamada Ted Lasso (que también finalizó este año con su tercera temporada).
Cambios para la nueva ceremonia
Uno de los cambios que se pueden apreciar para el show que tendrá lugar el 7 de enero de 2024 es que las categorías ya no tienen cinco nominados sino seis. Además, hay dos nuevos premios: uno que celebra los éxitos de taquilla y otros que premian los stand-up de comedia. Así, films como Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, John Wick: Chapter 4 y Guardianes de la galaxia Vol. 3 tendrán la oportunidad de llevarse un galardón al igual que comediantes como Amy Schumer, Ricky Gervais, Sarah Silverman y Chris Rock.
